IDEIA stands for which federal act?

IDEIA stands for Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act. This is the 2004 reauthorization of the earlier IDEA, with the added word “Improvement” to emphasize a focus on improving educational outcomes for students with disabilities while keeping the fundamental protections like FAPE and IEPs. The older precursor name was Education for All Handicapped Children Act, and the option that suggests a “Rights Act” isn’t the correct federal act in this context.
